The Scala brand originated in 1998, when the then 35-year-old company Scalina, based in São Paulo, decided to import state-of-the-art Italian machines and invest in producing seamless underwear under the slogan "Try wearing nothing". Since then, as a company Scalina has only continued to grow, and in July 2000 opened its manufacturing plant in the north of Brazil, which has since been recognised by the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) for an award in the Technological Innovation Category.

Comfortable and contour hugging, Scala's shapewear products include bodysuits, bodies, high-waist leggings and high-waist boxers, all cut by machine to ensure they are completely free of lateral seams. Combining microfibre and cotton with the elasticity of Lycra®, garments made by Scala are not only breathable but also crease-resistant and do not fade in the wash.

Best of all, these seam-free garments are practically invisible when worn underneath clothing, meaning you really will look and feel as though you're wearing nothing at all.
