Briefs in Brief
Getting the right style of knickers for all-day comfort is
essential, and these days there are so many to choose from, it's even
more difficult to know the difference between a tiny tanga and basic
brief. Starting with the smallest, this guide should help you.
G-string/Thong/Tanga
These
are the string-sided briefs that have been popular in Brazil since the
Seventies and started out as the basic beachwear bikini on Rio's
beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana. They definitely resolve the VPL
problem but some might not be as comfortable as they look.
Briefs
Most
knickers could be described as briefs, and they come in all shapes and
sizes. Briefs have become the popular terminology for women's underwear
and are generally wider at the sides than tangas/thongs/G-strings.
Boy Shorts
These
are sometimes referred to as Hipsters and are usually much wider on the
sides that Briefs or Tangas. Great for comfort and very trendy, they
reduce the risk of VPL and come in a variety of fabrics, some of which
are seam-free.
Slimming Pants/Magic Knickers
This has become the generic term for a pair of briefs, normally with legs that has some slimming power designed into the very fabric of the garment. Great for zero VPL and reduce chaffing between the thighs.
Micro-Modal Mens Underpants
If you are between sizes, we recommend that you purchase the smaller of the two options, as this garment is very stretchy.
The outside leg measurement (from waist to lower leg hem) is 12 ½ inches (32 cm). When stretched on the body this measurement increases by approx. 3 inches.
Sizes Explained
With estimates that up to ¾ of women might be wearing the wrong size
bra, it might be time to check if your shoulder straps are digging in
and leaving marks, or the back of the bra is not level with the front.
If your breasts are bulging out of the cups, and that is not the look
you are after, maybe you are having trouble sizing or finding a bra
that is comfortable and good looking for you.
As your body
changes, your breasts do too. If you have put on weight since your last
measurement was taken, chances are that your breasts have increased a
bit as well. Check your size on a regular basis to make sure you are
wearing the correct size bra.
At the end of the day the best bra
size for you is the one that fits best. If you've found a comfortable
size that works for you, stick with it, but remember it must offer good
support especially if your are a large cup size.
