Postage and Delivery
All Orders placed before 14:00 hours will be dispatched on the same working day, subject to payment card authorization and stock availability. Your goods will be sent via Royal Mail 1st class or Parcel Force 48hrs guaranteed delivery (UK mainland only).
Estimated Delivery time by Royal Mail is 1-5 working days from dispatch date, not from placing the order on the internet. Our orders are dispatched on weekdays only, Monday to Friday. Orders placed on evenings and weekends, will only be dispatched the next working day.
Orders over £ 100.00 are FREE of P&P charge (UK mainland only).
We have also guaranteed delivery date options as follows:
Parcel Force 48 hours guaranteed delivery ( UK mainland only).
Please note that Parcel Force does not guarantee deliveries for Saturdays!
A signature will be required for all deliveries with Parcel Force.
However, parcels can be left without signature as per specific instructions, but at customer's own risk. We will not be liable for missing parcels that have been requested by costumers to be left without being signed for.
We accept on-line orders from the EEC and other selected countries worlwide. However, please note that all our prices are shown in £ Pounds Sterling (GBP) only. The total amount of the customer's order will be converted by the Credit/Debit Card issuer according to their exchange rate applicable on the date of purchase.
We have a fixed International Postage & Packing charge and the service we use is Royal Mail International Recorded. Estimated Delivery time by Royal Mail International is 3-5 working in Europe and 7-14 working days for overseas countries. Royal Mail will only be responsible for delivery to the correspondent mail service in the destination country. Please also note that we cannot be responsible for parcels that go missing or get damaged within the country of delivery.
Due to the increasing number of fraudulent internet transactions, we require formal proof of ID (ID Card, Driver's Licence or Passport) before dispatching orders to a country outside the United Kingdom.
All Briefs/thongs/swimwear etc. must be tried on over your own underwear. We reserve the right to refuse returns of items where it is apparent that this has not been done. If you're in any way unhappy with the goods you have ordered, we will exchange them or give you a full refund, provided that you return them to us in their original condition, unworn and unwashed and in their original packaging, with all labels/hang tags intact. Please also note that returns on hosiery cannot be accepted if the pack has been opened. Certain products will be excluded from our general returns policy for reasons of hygiene - this will be indicated with the product information for these items on our website. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
Our returns period is 14 days from when you receive the goods, and any returned items must be received by us within this time. We will inform you as soon as we receive the goods returned, and will then process your request for either a refund or replacement. Please allow up to seven days from our receipt of your returned goods for this to be done. If you request a refund, or replacements of a lower value than the returned goods, any refund due will be credited back to the card used to pay for the original order. We will let you know as soon as the refund has been processed.
If you have requested replacements of a higher value, any difference due will be charged to the card used to pay for the original order. Delivery charges are not refunded in the case of a return but if you request replacements for returned items (for example reasons of incorrect or ill-fitting size), you will not be charged for delivery a second time. Please enclose copy/original Invoice or a note with the returned goods, ensuring that all the following information is included:
- Order number
- Your Name in full
- Your Address & Contact telephone number
- Your e-mail address
- The Reason for the return
- Details of the refund or replacement required.
If using the original packaging, please ensure that the original address label is covered up. All returns must be sent to:

Return of Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event of there being a fault with your goods, you should return the item to us together with a note, explaining what you believe is the problem and stating the original order number. Upon receipt of the item, we will investigate the fault and contact you to agree the most appropriate resolution. If you request a refund, please note that this can only be issued to the card which was used to pay for the goods. We are unable to offer credit notes.
What information do we collect?
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and credit card information. We may also collect the products you are interested in and which products you purchase. We also monitor customer web traffic patterns and site use which enables us to improve the navigation and service we provide.
It is our policy never to sell, rent or pass your name and address, phone number etc., on to any other organizations. Your details are confidential and you will not receive any third-party e-mail as a result of ordering from Girl from Ipanema.
